During initial consultation, one of Neat Aesthetics team take a detailed history, examine the area of concern and create a plan to dissolve the filler. Occasionally, several sessions of dissolving are required to completely remove the filler. Some permanent or semi-permanent material can not be dissolved with hyalase.

Very rarely, a patient may be allergic to hyalase. A ‘patch test’ may be performed before treatment to ensure patients do not have an allergy. This involves introducing a very small amount of hyalase under the skin of the forearm and observing the area for 30 minutes. Patients must wait a minimum of 2 weeks after treatment with hyalase before having more filler injected.
